- Is it okay to use a semi-broken HDD tray for hard drive?

Purchased a pre-built a couple months ago. I have been having problems with storage (only came with 480 SSD) I purchased two HDD and went to install. found one of the trays had 1 broken pin on it. Tried for several hours to repair, nothing seems to work. Went around searching for the tray and found that the company itself (corsair) discontinued the product a while back, just my luck.
So i was wondering if it is fine to install the hard drive with the broken one I have currently? if not, any other option to consider?
Please help.
Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

If one of the hard disks has problems, it's better to buy another one, I only see this solution. Hard drive repair can only be done with a professional in my opinion.
I hope I helped you. 😉
